Self Doubt, Shopping, Sunshine and More....

It's been a whirlwind couple of months at Love HQ - a roller coaster of self-doubt, shopping, lycra, Leeds to Loughborough, basking in sunshine, marvelling at northern lights (or not) , and finally catching up with Baby Reindeer! Almost forgot about my fab new brand images (can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually adore these snaps of me!). So, brace yourself for this jumble of joy - let's dive right in!

Baby Reindeer

Guess who was fashionably late to this movie party? Yours truly! One moment I'm squirming in my seat, the next I'm absolutely gobsmacked! I also found out late that the actor was the actual Richard Gadd! I even caught the 'Martha' chat on Piers Morgan - talk about uncomfortable and weird! Have you caught it yet? Spill the beans, what did you think?

Self Doubt - Imposter Syndrome

Ever had a visit from the pesky imposter syndrome fairy? Well, you're not alone! Even the 'I-have-it-all-together' folks have been her guest. Recently, I found myself hosting this uninvited guest while prepping for a LinkedIn masterclass. Despite my thorough prep and additional courses, self-doubt crept in. But guess what? The masterclass went down a treat! Turns out, my LinkedIn tricks are actually magic to many! So, if you're having a 'not-so-great' day, remember, behind the smoke and mirrors, we're all a little batty and fabulous in our own ways!

My love of lycra

Guess who kissed hibernation goodbye and swapped the virtual Zwift bike rides for the real deal? Yep, yours truly! Starting with a breezy 75 miles at the Derby Sportive, then another 80 miles for the most adorable cause ever - sending little Scarlett to Disney! But wait, there's more! Alongside my cycling partner-in-crime Liz, we crushed the Newark Castle Sportive, clocking in over 104 miles. All under the blazing sun, no less! And guess what's next? Another 100-mile ride at SkegVegas, fingers crossed my rebel kneecap behaves! Stay tuned for more cycling adventures!

New Brand Shoot

Well I've been keen to do a brand shoot with the amazing Helen Rowan after meeting her through the LOOP Collective networking and booking her for the friends shoot earlier in the year... see below...

I just knew I needed to get some new brand shots for Love Marketing. And, you know what, boy did she deliver. I really really LOVE them it was actually hard to whittle them down to 15 as were so many and I love the colours and variety... just need to figure out my fave to update my socials with... what's your fave?

Loughborough

I’ve been working with Loughborough Uni students for quite a few years now acting as a kind of career fairy Godmother :) Helping them score big in the sports industry, one connection at a time. And guess what? There's a juicy secret project brewing with an awesome sports brand. Stay tuned, more to come!

GCSE’s

The roller coaster ride of GCSEs is on for my 16-year-old, after what feels like a gazillion mocks! She's all geared up, ready to snag those shiny rewards for all her hard work. A Levels are on the horizon, but first, it's prom time!

We took some time out for some much needed retail therapy to Leeds, escaping from the exam buzz. We chatted, laughed, and shopped, making a memory (made a change from moaning/nagging) here's to the end of exams and hello to Katie's endless summer!
